2010 National Conference
AVID Center will offer superintendents, district leaders, principals, teacher-leaders, counselors and school board members an opportunity to engage in a dialogue on the crafting of a plan to close the achievement gap; a plan that is cost-effective, proven, and easy to replicate.

AVID District Leadership Training (ADL)
The ADL offers on-site visits, training, and facilitation to ensure that regional and district directors are able to build local capacity for implementing, sustaining and constantly improving quality AVID programs in their areas. In addition, a regional or district liaison trains in the Center in order to provide continual on-site assistance.

Coordinator Workshops and Site Team Conferences

Data Analysis Trainings: Leadership for College Readiness
Data Analysis Trainings allow participants to take a step into the world of data and see how it can shape and change the educational culture of a school site.

Leadership for College Readiness (Administrator Trainings)
Two-day trainings are designed for participants to actively participate in assessing the structures, processes, and systems needed to create culturally gifted schools and "college-ready" cultures on their campuses.

Path Trainings
Throughout the world, the AVID Center provides one and two-day workshops for content teachers in English, mathematics, science, history-social science, English Language Learners, and Elective Training using AVID's Write Path materials.

Principals' Leadership Academy
The mission of The Principals' Leadership Academy is to increase the relational leadership skills and organizational knowledge of current principals such that they have the capacity to develop systems of schooling that provide an opportunity for all students to be successful both socially and academically.

Regional Planning Meetings
Regional planning sessions to discuss the steps to take this spring in preparation for next year. These sessions are not an introduction to AVID. They are intended to train campus personnel in the steps necessary to begin AVID next year.
