As their way of saying congratulations to AVID on 30 years of supporting student success, the Hard Rock Cafe has graciously provided all SI participants with not just a $5 off coupon, but first available seating!  Georgia Aquarium Family Discounts
If your family accompanied you to Atlanta, the Georgia Aquarium is a great daytime activity for them to enjoy while you're at Summer Institute. Visit the website for special AVID discounts on admission. Georgia Aquarium recommends that you purchase tickets in advance as the aquarium sells out every day during the summer.
$15 Jazz Journey Friday at the Georgia Aquarium
If you're staying over in Atlanta after Summer Institute, the Georgia Aquarium welcomes you on Friday evening, July 16, with acccess to all the aquarium galleries and live jazz entertainment. All for $15! Food and cocktails will be available for purchase at the aquarium this evening. These discounted tickets are not available at the box office. Purchase in advance here.
Zoo Atlanta Discount
 If you're staying over in Atlanta after Summer Institute,
then schedule some time to visit Zoo Atlanta. On Friday and Saturday (July 16-17), the admission price for SI attendees is only $8.64! To receive the discounted price, simply hold on to your SI name badge and present it at the ticket booth. Visit the website for more information.
Atlanta Braves, Discounted Tickets
 The Braves are in town during Summer Institute, playing the Milwaukee Brewers on Thursday evening. You must purchase your discounted tickets in advance online. Go here for all the details, make sure to use the Promo Code "AVID" when you place your order, and enjoy the game! Thanks to the Atlanta Braves for extending this offer to Summer Institute participants.
Discount Transportation

 10% Off at Macy's
Macy's department store has provided AVID Summer Institute attendees with the Macy's Domestic Savings Pass. Simply print the voucher and present it with a qualifying identification at any Macy's location nationwide, from Manhattan to Maui, to receive your Savings Pass, offering 10% savings on a wide selection of Macy's merchandise.
