2010-2011 General Data Collection Timeline

August 01..................................

General Data collection forms available online.

October 11 - February 25............

Site Coordinator or designee enters data online.  Forms should be submitted to the Regional Director or District Director (RD/DD) no later than Midnight, Pacific Time on February 25.

May 13......................................

RD/DD reviews and submits General Data collection form online to the AVID Center, no later than Midnight, Pacific Time on May 13.

June.........................................

AVID Center verifies and approves General Data collection forms.


Step 1 Get the Paper Data Collection Forms

You will need to capture your school's data on the paper 2010-2011 Data Collection Form before you can enter it online. If you have not already received a paper form you can download one using the link that matches your school's type below. These forms are in Portable Document Format (PDF) and can be opened and printed using Adobe Acrobat, a free program that comes with most web browsers released during the last several years.

Step 2 Collect Data on Paper Form

Collecting the data should be a team effort! Get your AVID Site Team involved! Counselors, administrators, registrars and front office staff can all be a big help collecting the data that you need.

Use the Supplemental Instruction Sheet to help you if you are unsure of what is being asked.


Step 3 Enter the Data Online

  1. Once you have logged in, click on the link titled "Data Entry System" under MyAVID Tools. The new screen will read "Data Entry System" at the top of the page.

  2. In the left margin, click on "Add/Edit/View Current Data" to enter your school's data. The site will walk you through the process of entering your data.

Use the Supplemental Instruction Sheet to help you if you are unsure of what is being asked.

Data reports can be generated and printed at https://data.avidcenter.org.
